Rockford Manufacturing Group Inc. (RMG) acquired Fastener Engineers in 2003.

Between the two companies we have been in business for over 80 years and we are the pioneers of the in-line wire drawing process. We have taken advantage of the merger of our companies to combine the best technologies of both engineering groups to develop one distinct brand of In-Line Wire Processing Solutions under the RMG name.

In-line wire drawing is the definition of Lean and Green Manufacturing, by processing the wire as it is consumed. We developed Variable Frequency Drive’s to replace the less efficient hydraulic drive units. If you are still using the older Fastener Engineers or RMG hydraulic wire drawers you will achieve greater than 50% in electrical savings by retrofitting these units to AC Drive or replacing them with the new RMG technology.
